Hello BeoWorlders, I tested the VGA projector output on my BV7-32 mark IV, and although the TV & DVD sources are displayed correctly while pressing "FORMAT 0", the HD input sources (PC via DVI, and VMEM -TVIX- via component) do not display anything, instead I get a warning saying something like "protected content/cannout output"

Personnellement, j'ai une BeoLab 2000, qui n'est plus fabriquée mais dispo en occasion assez facilement. J'ai préféré la 2000 à la 3500 pour la salle de bains, car c'est une pièce qui résonne beaucoup, et la 2000 a un peu plus de basse que la 3500, elle a aussi été conçue

Wow, thanks for the info on the tweeters, I simply adjusted the treble level on my BeoCenter 9000 as the linear treble response was quite ...poor, especially compared to the bass response of the Pentas. I'm going to have a look at the specs of the tweeter you chose, being no technician, I haven't touched anything in the filters yet. Keep renovating

Well, I could read the same lines in the user guide, that doesn't say if it is only activated for DVD playback or not.. What is the purpose of a line output if it only works on some sources and in some setups? The rest of the world manufacturers just make the line output as it should be, why limiting it to a connection to a TV?!

Hi, I gave up trying to get any sound output on these "line out" phono outputs on the socket unit of BeoCenter 2, and am now using the "aux out" phono socket, however can anyone tell me how the line out is supposed to work/be activated? Is it because I have a Powerlink plug inserted? Or is it only working when activating "DVD"

Well, I've just completed refoaming one of the Pentas, didn't expect it to be so easy, once you know what to do and where to glue, it's like making pancakes, only the first one is a mess, then the others are great! The sound improvement is obviously noticeable, now I'm going to silver solder the filter wires and keep working on these

Hi, I've just received the new rubber rings by mail today, so tomorrow being a bank holiday in France, I'll start refoaming the midrange drivers and hopefully at the end of the day I'll discover a better "Penta sound"

Hi Lee, I don't know about the Audio Note DAC, however I bought a Cambridge Audio DAC Magic, that had excellent reviews everywhere including on this website, and I could hear the difference right away on my Mac Book Pro. Following general advice, I favoured the optical connection over the USB one, the only thing I had to adjust was the max. volume
