• Re: Bang & Olufsen met Asus in laptops

Eigenlijk is het geen B&O portable.. David Lewis heeft meegeholpen bij het ontwerp; en in de portable zitten IcePower versterkers voor het geluid.

  • Re: ASUS NX90Jq is Bang & Olufsen designed

Damn.. you just beat me by a couple of seconds :-) Other links: http://www.techflash.com/seattle/2010/01/new_pc_designs_from_asus.html http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/01/05/quick-look-asus-nx90/ Sound seems to be deliverd from IcePower amps... and in my humble opinion... the screen has a rather BV8-ish look.. David Lewis had something to do with it.

  • Re: The BeoWorld Interview with Lars Flyholm..

Excellent interview.. I had the chance to talk to Lars when the BV10 was launched in Belgium and he's really a very hand-on and down to earth person! Clearly reflected in the interview..

  • File structure when ripping.

I'm wondering what the most convient way is of organising your digital music. At the moment it's stored in: <artist>\<album name>\<tracks> What is your setup? <artist>-<album name>\<tracks> Also... what about mix-albums? Karel.

  • Re: New Beocom 5 phone?

I'm pretty sure that this is not the case.
Why?
Because of the fact that there are only RJ11 connectors on the BeoLine 2; and no RJ45 ethernet connectors... and there's NO Voice over IP configuration possible on the BeoCom 5. In my very humble opinion

  • Re: New Beocom 5 phone?

B&O will need to make a correction in their marketing concerning the VoIP aspect of the BeoCom 5. The BeoCom 5 (or better.. the BeoLine 2) does not do any VoIP out of the box. It just has 2 PSTN lines. If you want to use VoIP on the BeoCom 5 (or any other PSTN phone).. you will need to first buy an ATA (analogue telephone adapter). In this ATA you

Mijn eerste indruk? Stevig toestel! 'k Kan me niet van de indruk ontdoen... maar vind de BC5 minder plastiek aanvoelen dan de BC6000... Schermpje is zeer helder! Echt een goeie toevoeging aan het gamma... ik heb enkel bedenkingen bij het feit dat B&O nu uitkomt met enkel een PSTN versie... Moest had het toestel out of the box ook Voice over

  • Re: BeoVision 10-40 and BeoCom 5 on B&O mainsite

Also... The Press release about the BeoCom 5 contains a HUGE error: "BeoCom 5 allows IP telephony, which allows you to send and receive telephone calls via your computer instead of an older landline connection. " You absolutely do not need a computer to make Voice over IP calls!
