My Beovox S120 are also white. This is very rare so keep them original and in as good condition as you can. Foam rot yes so Dillen did the service and they sound wonderfull. Its a complex job if you have no experience doing it before. If you send them to Dillen they will be perfect when you recive them.

Thank you Peter. That should do the trick.

I got a Beogram 1202 that is working perfectly but the 5 pin DIN plug needs to be soldered back on. How is this done? I got 3 wires as I recall and 5 pins. One is black the other white. I guess left and right?

I also got a CD6500 but I can't tell compared to the CDX and Beomaster 8000. Both sounds wonderfull. I have 2 Beosystem setup and the 6500 used the most. 6500 is fully link able and remote controlled which is really great. CDX can be connected to anything. A bit more flexiable with non B&O amps.
-
Another CDX recommendation from me. They do sound great and once the service is done they last a really long time.

I have it a bit the same way. The AV9000 grows on me and when founds permits I'm going to get at least some front speakers. The picture even on VHS is really good but a some level under standard DVD quality.

Welcome to Beoworld! Not all pre 1991 B&O can play Cd'r s but the lower the burning speed the better the chance of the cd player playing it.
-
I can recall the days of early 1990's. B&O was just quickly in, god that is expensive, and then out again. I can't recall seeing some of the B&O I own these days in the shops though I did have the opportunity. I got more trouble with the audio than video department in picking out new B&O. I'm still highly in love with my collection

I still have VHS tapes around. My AV9000 IMP has a great working video built in and its perfect for buying a movie to see if its even worth buying a dvd version off. VHS tapes go for nothing these days. Maybe with the next Beovision it will be DVD or Blueray only. Only time will tell. The AV9000 is only 11 years old. Recently serviced monitor part so

True defender of the Beolab 8000 system I would say. What do you do with a CDX? In line as well? Space wise this is my Beosystem 6500. Currently Bm,CD,Cord 6500 and Cord5500 with white S80.2. For Beolink around the house and the future it beats the Beolab 8000 system. Sound is a little less but not much. Space is the winner. If it was white edition
