  • Re: Beocenter 7002 - hinge bracket

Hi there. Welcome to the site! And welcome to the club of people with broken hinges on their 7000 series Beocenters! One of our members apparently has some, and I am sure he'll be in touch. Hoping you'll stick around Beoworld, though you'll probably do what I did and buy yourself some more B&O to keep it company Best wishes

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Jandyt: Just finished watching Bruch's Violin Concerto in surround sound on BBC2 Proms Halle Orchestra conducted by Sir Mark Elder, soloist was a young dutch violinist, Janine Jansen. Brought a tear to my eye. Andy T. I didn't watch it (I have no TV at the moment) but I know who you mean, and may I say she is not only a fabulous violinist, but

britops: Queen Greatest Hits . I was working in London last year when I saw Brian May walking down the street. I was on the street he lived on. He stoppped and chatted when it was obvious we recognised him, what a genuinely super bloke. The next time I was watching Live Aid it struck me what a superstar he is. Yes, I'm a big fan. Other than the

  • Beotalk 1200 Power Supply & Cables

Hi All. I've just bought a Beotalk 1200 from eBay without cables. Can anyone confirm if the cables/PSU from a Beotalk 1100 are the same? 1100's are much cheaper on eBay... Many thanks

  • Re: CDX 'VS 4500

Well, my CDX hasn't arrived yet, but I have listened to the machine it is based on, the Philips CD-104. This is a 14 bit machine, and has a very 'analogue' sound that sounds great though older stuff. They are a very solid and dependable mechanism, with laser failure almost unheard of. The CD4500, (which I owned last year) is a newer player

  • Re: Would You try this?

I use a metal polish to remove scratches from the plastic "glass" on watches. Works very well indeed.

  • Re: JULY 2008 PRIZE DRAW - coincidence?

I, too, am surprised by suggestions that the draw is "rigged" somehow. If such a thing were proven to be true it would totally destroy the relationship between the 'management team' and the ordinary members like me. Trust would be gone, and the memberships would go the same way - result? Beoworld disappears. I've been a member

  • Re: 7,000 Members

I agree! I've been with the new site since day one (albeit with a break where I wasn't on the net) and have certainly noticed the site grow and improve in every way. If things continue as they are Beoworld will undoubtedly flourish, and I certainly look forward to being a part of it, albeit a small one.
