  • Re: Home Cinema Project

Now i have looked into the lintronic more i think i would be able to control it via RS232 pins and having the input pins connected to the BV7. I would then no longer need a B&o receiver i could get one of there lovely looking touch panels on the wall.

They can say what they want about Philips inside and overpriced this and that but look at this and it reminds us why we love this brand.

I have a MKIV and i do notice a humming while the tv sync's with HDMI. While it flickers when changing sourse but then is goes away. I have noticed that it Hums when i use Apple Tv via Vmem but i have my music up loud enough not to care.

  • Re: Got me some Beolab 9's

I have now changed my mind. My speakers were Ex Demo. My issue was that i was feeling the speakers lacked everything when in fact what i was actally hearing was so much in the high end. The feeling i was getting was that i needed to turn the sound up to compensate for the lack of everything but High Notes and Voice I had look at the POTS on the back

  • Re: BeoLab 9 - where is the midrange, too much tweeter!

Hello Yeah I believe each speaker has its pot setting on it once its tested in the factory. I do wonder if the pot setting had been changed on my speakers while they were out on demo's with potential buyers.

Hi Dave I just tired to call you on you rmobile /cell. Yeah i think I maybe should give them some more time. according to the service book those settings should be matched to a replacement speaker. If it does not damage them i will have a play with mine today after writing the original settings of course. did you not think of turning the midrange up
