Beogen: Yes it's nice but have you seen the menu's, very non-B&O and be very patient when you want to load a DVD during start-up. I was waiting for this new product but last week I bought myself a used DVD1 because of the dissapointment of the DVD2. I'll skip this one and wait for the next gen DVD. My Sony RDR GX-7 is the same. An excellent

Why has B&O departed from supplying video seperates in black and joined other manufacturers with the silver/aluminium look? The DVD1/V8000/HDR1 units look smart and blend in with all current & previous B&O Tv's. I also question the wall brackets for some of the LCD panels which are also in bright silver. The DVD2 looks like it is designed to be hidden

Stange indeed. How about this: V6000 plays NTSC correctly on Beovision LX4500 but on Beovision 9000 it plays in black and white. V8000 plays NTSC correctly on 9000 but in Black and White on LX! This happens via Scart and RF. Explanations please! Finally sorted the RF. You were correct. Pressing play for three seconds does switch on the modulator (as

Hi, Thanks for your comments. I do not have an audio system connected I want to simply provide an RF signal to feed another TV so I can watch a video tape in another room, Something I can easily do with other VCR's either directly from the menu or with the aid of a small screw driver to select the desired channel output! The LX4500 TV software is 2

Thankyou for that instruction Stig. This does not appear to work like a conventional RF modulator. I used channel 31 and this picks up the signal after around 15 seconds, however every 30 seconds the signal is briefly stopped and started again and the TV displays TV31. The signal is lost if the AV scart is disconnected from the VCR! If the modulator

Pressing play for three seconds removes the "link" option from the setup menu. The only way to get it back is to disconnect the deck from the mains, on reconnecting it then appears by default. I set the link frequency to 599/play. Then put in a tape, press Vtape/tv/goto/599 and get nothing. If the RF modulator is working I should get a picture. Correct

I see the BV-32 price is EUR3800. So around £2600 in the UK then. As B&O do not offer a remote with this TV will the Beolink 1000 control all functions?

Unfortunately the LX does not have this. I don't particularly need a modulator (although it would be useful for sending round the RF loop to other TV's in the house) I wanted to see if the V8000 would give a colour picture via the RF. It is only black and white via Scart.

Is the "Link frequency" on the V8000 the RF output frequency? I have set this and then tried to tune it in on my LX4500 but nothing is recieved. I have also contacted B&O in Denmark about NTSC VHS tapes being played in black and White on this outfit (with the occasional flicker of colour on FF and initial play) and they had no answer! Scart leads have

Can anyone help me produce a colour picture from an NTSC tape on a V8000? The VX7000 and V6000 do this by default.
