• Re: Any news on Apple Lossless support?
What concerns me is that they need a solid base to shift from CD driven music systems.
This is the other point that is depressing me (this talk giving up on it being the main). I knew what it was when I bought it so I'm not disappointed nor depressed about its current performance. The fact that it seems to

  • Re: L.OPT setting for Beolink Wireless

    1) Possible? Yes. Reasonable? Seems like the cable is cheaper and more reliable, but to each their own. I've only ran my wireless and wired speakers in the same room for initial testing, but, at the time, I did not notice any delay for the wireless so, assuming you have good wireless connectivity, it should work. 2) You control the volume via the

  • Re: Beosound 2

Hopefully, you got the power-supply with the unit because it must be plugged in to charge (I think - I have never done it any other way). That is, I don't think the dock works unless it is plugged in... it is not just usb powered. Stan

I can connect to my BM5 when it is not playing music. Do you have a hardwired connection? Stan

  • Re: Would appreciate any advise for linkroom speakers in my homeoffice

I have both BL4000 mk1s and a BL3500 mk2. The BL4000s are sonically much better than the BL3500. However, do you need this superior performance in your office? I'm perfectly happy with the BL3500 in my kitchen. I used to have the BL4000s in the kitchen, and they were overkill. Also, I've heard rumors on this site that the BL4000 mk2's are

Also, do not manually setup a mapped drive from computer to BM5. BeoPlayer does this automatically, and I believe BM5 only supports one connection so it may get confused. Stan

  • Re: Beosound 3 - Setting up clock

Actually, I just tried my steps on my own BS3 and maybe there is good news. You must hold the stand-by button until the "--:--" *blinks* . If you try the up/down arrow when it first appears, nothing happens. Hold until it blinks, then try the up/down arrow. Stan

  • Re: BeoSound 5 NetRadio, how does it works ?
But thr PC/Mac must not be connected all the time with BS5 if I want to listen to netradio ?
Once you've registered the BS5 using BeoPlayer/BeoConnect (happens automatically during install), no computer is required to use N.radio. You cannot add your own stations. I'm told you can write B&O, and they
