She probably said something like this: AŤ UŽ VÁS TU NEVIDÍM! ZÁKAZ VSTUPU NA TRÁVNÍK! (Keep off the Grass)

And they certainly do guard their secrets: last time I tried I could only get that close with my camera. What you (barely) see on the picture is an otherwise nice lady trying to chase me away (no joke!)

I don't mind so much how people call things - one always hears something new and potentially funny... my only concern is 'Bang-things' do omit 'Olufsen'. Perhaps Jandyt gently tried to address this problem - or find a compromise - adding 'o' as well ... more consequently though he should go for 'Bangoavant' instead

Well, just to give you a quick thumb up: the BV3 is probably a more suitable choice for a bedroom. Nice and, compared to Avant, ‘lighter’ and I would even say ‘less outdated’ design, too. I have had an Avant CTV 28” (100Hz) in my bedroom for some time now and based on the experience would add a bit to what others said:

It’s not that gloomy, Simon… it’s just life itself (on the planet Earth), I’m afraid. What are the alternatives for e.g. a Chinese worker (since you mention China ): to accept the job offered by the foreign exploiters or to accept a less desirable job – or perhaps no job at all? You are right about “greedy West”

Merry X-mas, Priest. (Frankly, get the speakers and forget the rest of the stuff - they will also fit perfectly design-wise as your pictures shows! )

I don't seem to get rid of problems - classically right before the holidays ... While the BS2 seems to function as before, ie copies to SD cards and then plays everything perfectly, the BS3 is not capable of playing everything that is on the very same cards. It plays only some copied albums, or the first songs of other albums - or doesn't play
-
I had a somewhat similar problem yesterday, which after I tried 'everything possible' solved itself out rather mysteriously I must admit ... but in your case, did you try to reset your BS2? Press and hold both volume buttons at the same time and then press GO for a few seconds as well. Might help ...

Uncomprehensible (at least for me) happened: I abandoned the BS2 for a day on my desk at home and when I tried it again after getting back home from work the next day it started to work again - and my PC can see it, too!! (No, it was not the empty battery as it had been on its docking station for more then a day before.) Strangely enough one of the

After a few years of faultless service my BS2 went completely silent - no music not even a beep when pressing a button. All this just as I was (almost finished) filling some 1G SD cards with music for my BS3 getting ready for holidays. No matter if off or on its docking station, it just stopped working - and the BeoPort software can't 'see'
