Replacement drivers are still available from a B&O dealer. The alternative is to re-foam the existing ones if that is the only (common) problem. Going price will depend on condition - from £40 to £200 say $80 to $400 - but that is based on UK prices - USA may differ....

There should be some better way of controlling those that do not really want goods. I have found it a useful way to sell off some B&O - as far afield as Greece, Spain, Finland and France. The only problem I had was with an MCP 5500 that I sold to someone in the USA who said it was not mint - but I had described it as good used for an item over 20

When they spot people taking drugs - how come they can't pick up a third leg from a Manx sprinter! Why why why are these athletes still taking drugs when the chances of being caught are so great?

You might also try looking for the Beovox 3800, P50, M70, S60 or similar

Not sure of the answer re power - when I lived in the USA and took my B&O system I simply bought a transformer for those units that could not be switched separately. My main concern is that too many scammers are now offering Beolab 8000s - be careful to check it is genuine. Some 8000s supposedly form the US show pictures with a UK plug at the wall

Sadly for you I note that after some 42 hours of riding he has now lost the yellow jersey to a cyclist more used to riding upside down (by all of 1 second). That would be enough to make one mad to think of the minute time difference! Still at least there is a chacne to make up 1 second!!

If you are happy to move back a generation the P45 or P50 are a good wall mounted speaker with better bass than the CX50s (larger volume and larger bass driver, plus a midrange unti as well as a tweeter)

The Beolink should work straight off as there are buttons to select TV, Text , Aux etc. A copy of the TV handbook would be useful - can be downlaoded as a gold or silver member. Brian

Battery Backup - yes I know you say you have replaced it but I would double check the connections (and the battery!). I have replaced 3 batteries recently in various MX1500s and without a good new battery they all show the symptoms you describe.... Brian.

That would be appreciated - but I fear I am going to have to duck out before the end - so please keep my prize warm....!!!
