Could it have "forgotten" it's option setting and reset to option 0? Try reseting it to 1? I thought the BL1000 worked with all the BM5500's. The door can sometimes be jammed on the CD50, the hinges are quite easily twisted. It could also be the rubber motor belt Martin does them. Still a nice sounding sytem though. cheers, Kevin

I think the photo works well. Shows how relaxed a person he is, very friendly and not at all put out by all of us surrounding him! Nice one, Kevin

Not really what you're looking for but as an option .... we have all our CD's/ DVD's put into albums (the boxes are safely packed away in the attic) they just live in a cupboard. It makes finding and choosing so much easier. The cover notes are in the album as well so you know where to put them back (kids!). cheers, kevin

Hi, it's amazing how good some of the older speakers can sound! If you go to Maplins you can get 2 pin DIN female connectors. Just wire them up and fix to your chosen amp with whatever connectors it needs (or bare wire) they come with screw fittings so you wouldn't even need to solder if you don't want to. cheers, Kevin

You could call it that at it's most basic It's designed to work best with B&O gear or the non B&O equipment on their list. It has been tuned so to speak to get the best out of this equipment with varying types of signals. So for instance it will do a frame by frame (in real time) processing of the dark/light/contrast settings with maps
