There can be countless reasons for this. Most likely are bad contacts, either in the pushbuttons or the sliders, aged capacitors and a faulty volume potentiometer. Martin

Do you mean that the problem is still in the same speaker or in the same Beocenter channel ? Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Try swapping the left/right loudspeakers (cables) to see if the problem is with the speakers or the Beocenter. Martin

Er det et Master Control Panel 5000 ? Det er det eneste Master Control Panel, der kan kommunikere med Beomaster 5000. Martin

In that case the floating subchassis is directly visible at the bottom with all its cast plastic holders etc. Perfectly normal if this is what yours look like. Martin

Thanks for the photos. We like photos. In Denmark we had several producers of replacement cartridges and needles for the old SP type pickups. Some of these more or less legal "counterfeits" were actually quite good, others worse than bad. This is such a needle and this one was made in England. I am not familiar with the producer so I cannot
