Hello, I was just curious how many of the members here have actually gone through with a restored system from Classic Audio? I recently put my deposit down and am waiting for my system! I decided to go through with getting the full Classic system (Beovox 5000 & Beovox 2500 along with the Beolab/master). I imagine there aren't many here. Any

I think the problem with the TVs is that the technology is rapidly evolving. What is being used today will of course still work in 5 years and look the same, but technology will have advanced by a large degree. The audio components however are not evolving quite as fast. Many of us enjoy vintage gear (for myself my Beocenter 9500) and it sounds great

Well I got the BG3000 and I was disappointed with the build quality. I had the chance to hear a Clearaudio deck so I went with their new Clearaudio Concept and await arrival. Very simple deck, clean lines, all manual (just about the opposite of the BG3000). Got a great deal on it used as well so I couldn't pass it up.

Can't you use attenuated cables and active speakers.

Thanks for the update. I now have 4 BL6000 mounted, and I chose to do them all on studs. I would be OK doing BL3s on sheetrock but I would be a bit nervouse with the BL6000s as there is also a lot of torque that they could apply to a wall with their length. I still think the design is poor as I had to route the cables off to the side, but they still
