RHSeymour: Jeff, The 400 doesn't have a grounding lug and my concern was making sure the TT was grounded to the amp / tuner. The din adapter has just 2 rca outputs and no ground. I'll send a pm and take you up on the offer of a test cart. Rich ok, well then the 400 and the 750 are quite different, and the (2) rca would be tough to not hook up

you know what, my tcc750 + cables are not in use right now. i'll set it up and play w/ it tonight, and see what i come up with... i seem to remember the rca connections were not exactly straight forward. i'll have to review the bm's i have and let you know -of course, you wouldn't need the preamp then...

oh... and i have several bm1900/2000/2400's available if you'd like to go "back to the future."

howdy fellow carolinian... welcome to beoworld! take a quick look here i used a tcc also -the 750 -though to a non riaa beomaster. worked great after fiddling. 1.) confirm the rca's are all placed correctly!!! 2.) does the 400 have a dial to "whick it up" like the 750? 3.) the 750 does and i had to crank it up to come close to matching

Medogsfat: Items NOT doing too well are any of the CRT TV's including the RF Avants.
