Many of the belts used by B&O are odd sizes and this one needs to be fairly exact. I can supply a suitable belt but check first that the servo motor will run using >> and << with the belt removed. Martin

I'm sure you are familiar with the little audible click from the muting relay after lowering the arm. Can you hear this click in the cases when it does not lower ? If the click is heard - repair the lift/lower mechanics (solenoid etc.) If the click is not heard - the tonearm is not exactly above the lead-in groove and the threaded shaft will need

Check the tuning voltage and see if this is what drifts at power up. The sluggish channel switching can be caused by many things, it's hard to diagnose "per remote", it could be as simple as wrong wattage lamps. The BM1900/2400 are generally very sensitive to correct lamp wattage. Martin

With the Beogram in service mode, you need to swing the opto sensor out of the way to lift up the hub. Martin

Probably bad connectors or cracked solders on the processor and display boards, where they meet and where the ribbon cables go to the processor board. Resolder the lot and reseat the plugs. Martin
