9 LEE: True, but a very fast tin box with nice wheels and a good number plate can bring a lot of pleasure! I own a Landrover Discovery diesel and a Volvo. I live in the middle of the Cambridgeshire fens and most of the year the cars are covered in sh!t so the number plate is invisible. The roads are so bumpy and full of potholes that I'm afraid

I'm afraid I don't understand the facination with all this! They are just tin boxes on 4 wheels with a number plate on them.

There is a micro switch mounted on the inside of the wheel. Depending which way you move the wheel the switch either makes contact one way or the other. (Easy to see, not so easy to explain) The contacts of the switch become dirty and no longer make contact. I clean them with fine emery paper and this usually gets them going. BEWARE THE SMALL SPRING

Peter: I agree with Soundproof about the BL3s. I am very sceptical about running in speakers but in the case of the BL3s, it certainly was my experience as well. I am sceptical as well although I have never had a new pair! Is there not an arguement that after 250 hours the listener just gets used to the sound!!! I have purchased numerous pairs of Lab

  • Re: Buttons on my Ouverture

I've never seen a problem with the keyboard but from the service manual it looks similar to the type used in beolink 1000 or beo4 so I could believe it could wear out with much use. Should not be very expensive to replace. Part number is 7500270 The front of the ouverture is not difficult to take apart.

  • Re: HELP! Beosound 4000 / Overture Doors Won't open!

Service agents in the UK charge using the same system. My local one charges £60 to look at the item but this forms part of the first hour. If it gets fixed in that hour then that is what you pay. The test procedure for the sensors involves using an oscilloscope and is detailed in the service manual. I note that we do not have the Ouverture service

I Struer we have learned that it take more time to come up with a new model, and not a copy/past model from Samsung, if this model comes out, well they should be ashame!! And I really hope it will be a much better model... I will call it
