Paul, The problem with the two handsets is almost certainly a faulty keypad, so you could order a couple of keypads and replace them yourself, I can tell you how to do it. You could get the dealer to do it for you.

Well, based on your feedback I think you have a faulty pcb in the phone which will need to be repaired. You can take it to your B&O dealer or is this something you are willing to deal with yourself with instruction ?

Based on your description I would say the phone has a fault. Have you always had this fault ? Do you have more than one BeoCom 6000 registered to the base ? If so, does the problem happen to the other phones. How long have you had the phone ? Is it still under warranty ?
