Do you need the Masterlink cable connected? If you are just using it as an amp to drive some speakers I would imagine you only need Powerlink. This was all the older MCL2P had. Craig

Just got some Banana plugs from Ebay. £2.75 inc P&P. Somewhere I have a ribbon aerial, just need to find it. Craig

Never known a B&O remote which needs to be pointed. Due to the frequency used as long as you are in the same room I cannot see a problem. If you look at the front of your BC9500 you will see the I.R. reciever. It is a squarish part that sticks out. Craig

Is it still possible to get an FM aerial to fit a BM1000? It has a large Red connection for the aerial. My BM900 has the same type. Craig

Mobe not too sure about the software. but yes you can just Masterlink it to your 9000. This is how I have mine connected to my BS3000. Had mine for just over a week and think it is a great bit of kit. Just checking out all the radio stations I can listen to. Craig

Type 1 - Standard two pin speakers connections used for passive speakers. Type 2 - MCL connections for use in an MCL setup. Type3 - Speakerlink connections. Penta 1 and Penta 2 for example. Take a look at the following links for what wires do what. MCL SPEAKERLINK Craig
