ducha, you should be fine w/ the cable already on the bg8002! unless bashed at some time -it should be a 7 pin din. the bm2400 accepts a 5 pin din for phono -you don't need the ground. if you look at the end of the bg 7 pin din: you will notice the outermost pins should have a small slot in them. using a jeweler's flathead -simply unscrew them

This is not really ideal though, as the timer and mute buttons are no longer available for that room. Also all B&O remote codes would be sent to the Beomaster with no filtering by the front end micro - this could lead to unpredictable

Steve at Sounds Heavenly: The standard cable comes with the IR eye in the Beolink Active kit, but is not (as far as I can find out) available to purchase separately from B&O i was concerned that it may well not be available... though you think it would be, surely some must have gone bad/been damaged and need to be replaced??? ebay or die at this
