In my view, this is not a burden, its intentional. If I was B&O, after the product is launched, I would start a marketing campaign targeting current high end customers who are likely to use the LIST on the Beo4 a lot. The dealers may need to update the Beo5 a few times, but that gives them a further selling opportunity and clearly that is what marketing

I do remember in the long and distance passed having a similar problem with my Beolab 4500 and after speaking to B&O a few times, it turned out to be the routing of the display wires inside the unit was the problem. I cannot really remember the full details, but re-routing the wires solved the problem. I would do what Alex suggests and if the problem

The best way is to run an earth wire from one of the screws on the backplate down the same route as the mains cable in the tube support and out the back to a suitable earth connection.
