I use window cleaner (NOT the cream variety) on all the refurbs I do. Brings them up a treat including the glass. Don't put too much on or it will run into the electronics! I cannot recommend the suggested "wet and dry" treatment. The 9000 has a genuine "brushed" finish rather than the more matt effect on models such as the 5500

The cap and spring is no longer available and there is no CD repair kit to my knowledge. B&O are aware of the problem and you can get a magnetic cd clamp pt number 3152703 to replace the spring. The original cap and spring was part number 3164690 and you may be lucky to find a service dept with one still in stock. Bit of a long shot though.

Hello Graeme, Sorry but I don't do repairs on items sent to me. I really don't have the space or the facilities to handle that kind of thing. I am in enough trouble with my wife anyway without doing repairs. I have 6 BC9000 series variants in the dining room at the moment and two of them are on her dining room table which she paid a lot of money

Your option settings have been reset with the power cut! I suspect that each item needs to be in Link Option 6 but you should confirm by calling your installer or downloading the product configurator from the product pages on this site. If I recall, once downloaded you need to change it's file extention to .exe and run the file. You can place it
