In the UK, a MK 1 willl charge fine on a MK 2 charger, but NOT the other way round. As far as I know, all 6000s use the same battery, and it's 3.6 volts. Andy T.

Hi Jac and welcome to the forum I think the 4002 is a Datalink socket with 7 pins If so THIS might be a good place to look for colour codes Hope this helps Andy T.

Puncher: Hi Mike, The voltage rating od the parts should not affect their performance, although the 63V parts in the RL60's are marginal (~ 40Vac rating with the Amp of the BM5000 having 40V rails). It is indeed a Beogram 3000, the Acoustical version Absolutely perfect for my 5000 system, and, I believe, very rare. I felt guilty accepting this gorgeous item from Peter, so we agreed that it is on 'permanent loan'
