  • Re: Is it worth buying a B&O TV anymore? A thought for the day.

For a true reflection of what the consumer thinks of B&O and their products we need to ask Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and their pals, not the majority of folks here.

  • Re: Beogram CD 50 suitable for Beogram 550 system

Peter : I have both and they both work with a 5500 system. The 5500 is the one to get as it is in my experience quieter in operation. Both sound very good though, but I cannot tell CD players apart that well! I use the CD5500 out of preference. When you say quieter, do you mean electrically (through the speakers) or mechanically i.e. mechanism noise

  • Re: Did the earth move for you last night???

9 LEE: Medogsfat: Tom: Was it only to scare people, or were there any damages. I heard it in the news, but no details. Some fairly minor property damage and a young 19 year old lad in Barnsley had the chimney stack fall onto him in bed & broke his pelvis. What was he doing sleeping on the roof??!! As I said earlier - nicking the lead flashing

Was this on ebay?? You can ask questions without bidding and if they are good sellers they should reply (it's in their own interest after all you may decide to win the auction). Is your system a 5500 of a 5000? A CD50 or CD5500 will work with both (the CD6500 and CD7000 will also work but don't have the brushed aluminium finish of the other

  • OT - New Website

Has anyone notice the new layout of the BBC website. Layout, arrangement, content and colour scheme are all selectable and saveable as user preferences. Very cool, I suspect an awful lot of effort has gone into this one.

  • Re: Did the earth move for you last night???

Jandyt: Apparently the epicentre was in Lincolnshire somewhere. Only one person reported to be injured. Chimney fell on someone in Barnsley, Yorkshire. He was probably nicking the lead flashing at the time Apparently it reached this far North but we didn't feel it.
