Es sind mindest 15 versionen gebaut (Blok 1-F) und noch mehrere after-market Revisionen. ... zischt ziemlich stark ... = Laser Strom viel zu hoch! Martin

I had the same problem and one of the more experienced TV service guys here at Beoworld told me to turn off the light, watch the solderside of the main board, switch on the TV and watch for the spark(s). I did so and a spark lit up at the main board, drawing my attention to a cracked solder in the power supply area. I already had gone through the board

Over my 35 years with reel-reel tapes, I never experienced anything like that, even when playing tapes that were much older. Even wire recordings seem to keep their recorded info surprisingly well. Some tapes provide a slightly less

Welcome to Beoworld ! I'm no B&O TV models expert but I can see that we have the servicemanuals for type 834x (28 inch DVD) type 844x (32 inch DVD) type 833X/843X/837X (28 inch VCR) available for silver members. I'm sure someone here will be able to tell you if one of these will be useful. Martin
