As the serial number of your AVANT starts 12... means it was manufactured in 1997 AVANTS with a type number of 830X are Mark I AVANT's

The word modulator itself does not appear in the tuning menu, but if you press " Tuning " in the menu, then you should see two items being TV tuning and " Link Frequency " which by default is normally set to 599 Mhz, but you can change it if needed.

On the AVANT, look at the sockets at the back and above the Aerial socket is the RF output socket for the modulator. Which AVANT type do you have ?

Graham, Do people actually use this tool, its rather limited and also assumes you will have a maxmium of four link rooms ?

The following are the commands accepted by the Beosystem 3 supported Samsung projectors. The output is a standard RS232 running at 115K which if you wish could be connected to a dumb computer to see the output.

Jon, Given that these systems were last manufacturered around 1993/94, you may be unlucky, however it still worth calling your B&O dealer and getting him to check for you.
