You can access FrontRow by pressing Command + Esc (command is the Apple Key in case you didn't know), and Front Row shouldn't be slow, it's very speedy for me. It might have just been a one off. If not, you might need to repair permissions (which I'll explain if you need me to). As for apps it's just as soundproof says. Those little

Generally yes, although it's not always perfect. I thought it was up to 300 Hz anyway?

Obviously it works in a completely different way to other forums, but I'd suggest people try logging out and back in again if they are having issues. May solve the problems, may not, but it worked on a forum I was working on where an unread posts counter wasn't working properly...

Yeh I'm an electronica listener too. I find BeoLab 9s much more detailed than the BL2, which often seems very vague and slow with fast basslines. Phat Planet shows this up fantastically, it just becomes a big rumble on the BL2, wheras on the BL9s the tiniest details in the bassline come through well. As for more control over the sound of the BeoLab

Are you positive it's wired correctly? Check this wiring diagram: http://beotech.co.uk/wiring4.htm Also, I believe Cat5 cable isn't appropriately shielded. You may notice a drop in sound quality or even issues with communicating. Have never actually wired an ML cable so I couldn't tell you what the side-effects are of using the wrong cable

subversive: First of all congrats on the purchase of beolab 5's. These are my fav speakers and good decision on not purchasing beolab 9. I recently had a in home demo of beolab 9's but beolab 3 with beolab 2 sounded so much better than the 9's. I am glad that you mention the software version 3.0 for bs 3 because i am suppose to pickup my

Peter: We now have a Wii - hilarious! Bit tiring though! Best console IMO! Brings back what gaming was all about with the N64 and consoles before - having fun!

Reox: Hi again, Pardon the naive question but, as a temporary measure, doesn't just turning down the bass using the tone controls on your system cut out almost all of the bass? Surely the BeoLab 5's, with the tone control for bass set to the lowest minus setting, don't make a sizeable room rumble with low frequencies? Not if using a digital

I quite like the MightyMouse, although the Apple Pro Mouse is still my favourite, for it's simplicity and style. I don't use a mouse much though, as I'm really used to my MacBook Pro's trackpad. I'll be getting myself an iMac at some point, and I'll most probably get a wireless MightyMouse with it. I love the scrollwheel (even

You should be able to use an HDMI > DVI converter to connect it to the DVI socket, and the surround sound module should accept PCM 2.0 sound. The reason B&O gave for not accepting it with the BV7 was that the only thing you'd want digital stereo sound on was the internal DVD/CD drive. Could be the same on the BeoVision 5 though, but it doesn't
