As a tip, we use very, very fine grade 'car body scratch remover' at LifeStyle AV, then a good quality auto cut/wax as a middle polish, then a fine wax for the 'top coat'. Takes a long time, but the results are good. Look at the BeoGram 6500 in Silver/Black for an example. Lee

Tell the repairer Martin (Dillen) is watching what happens... that will keep him 'on his toes' as we say in England. Lee

The CDX gives a really warm sound for a CD player, and i'd always recommend one (or even a CDX2) They always sell immediately when we have them at LifeStyle AV, so i'd say that is a good advert for them! Lee

Probably a question for B&O Technical there!! Anyone??? Lee

Does anyone know this? If not - it may be a case of calling B&O technical !! Lee PS - Welcome to BeoWorld Kent!

Hi Jeff BeoGram dust covers are a rare thing these days. Most are damaged already and on decks - and a totally smashed lid can render a perfectly good deck worthless. I'd recommend keeping an eagle eye on ebay in case any come up. They do occasionally. Lee

Welcome to BeoWorld !! If you find the problem with the 7802, could you see if i can simulate it on my wife? As for the problem though (seriously) - you should ask either Dillen (moderator) or Neil (beovisions) for starters. Lee

Marks to the screen, scratches to the stands footplate trim - and dents to the speaker grille. Oh, and if it's got a 7.1 on it, you've been had !! (it should be a 7.2) If you buy it - enjoy! Lee

I'm sure Peter would know this - maybe a PM to him when he returns from holiday? Lee

Gotta bump this back to the top as someone is bound to know! I'm no expert with PC2/Beoport, but i seem to think what you want to do is feasible. However, it's not my strong point as i've never got into it - but i'm sure someone will advise. Lee
