Interesting - what was the approximate cost?
-
The 9300 is not 2 way - the 9500 is. The CD unit in the 9500 is pretty robust - clearly the are getting old but most faults are due to capacitor failure and not actually the laser anyway.
-
I take it that you have tried the 9500 code ? The 3500/4500 is really a disassembled 9500 in many ways!
-
Sorry I cannot think of anything else. Please do let us know if you find a solution as we will put it on site.
-
Not sure you want to see this - have a look at the BM4500 service manual - the supplement for the 3500 is at the back
-
No it does not, and the 2400-2 does not use Datalink either - only a proto version that is only fitted to very few decks - 2400/2/4 and 4004.
-
The user manual and service manual are on site.
-
Can't think of a good reason - no doubt there is a conflict in the operating system - there is a new version S/W 5.00 which could be worth a try though. I used to have similar problems trying to get B&O software to work with my PC - now have a Mac !
-
What are the symptoms of the CD3300? I'd get this repaired - Try Tim jarman at www.beocentral.com - he lives in your area and can be contacted via the Beocentral site. The 3300 system is of a certain design and the other players will not match as well from a style point of view. The CD3500 would be the closest.

Always interested in owners manuals we do not have - scans are all that are needed though! The Beocord 1600/1700 and the Beogram 1102 are both ones I do not have!
