• Re: Flash your B&O!
Just got a black painted BG1202 set up next to the Beosystem 7000 on the Attyca 1. Listening to the Boss right now...
Nice! Looks like the next best thing after a black Beogram 7000 to suit that system. Copy of Nebraska spotted. I'll need to dig up mine and play Atlantic City ...
I know the phenomenon, it's called tin whiskers. Never saw it in a tuning capacitor myself though, but I can't see why it wouldn't happen.
In retrospect, I think that was the fault in my Dirigent ! • Re: Beomaster 4000 vs. 4400
Am I correct in assuming that I need to find one with a male PAL connector?
Yes - but just a piece of wire will get you started. The connector you need is known by a lot of names, you can read more here . Congratulations on the 4400!

  • Re: BM5500 and BEO4 input selct

Confusion here - we are talking about Beomaster 5500, which doesn't have a separate AUX input. It is in the same socket with TP2. Anyway, it can be selected with A.TAPE2 on Beo4, which is exactly the same command as SHIFT-A.TAPE on Beolink 1000. A.AUX sends a different code, but probably works too (my BM5500 is far away so I can't check). Video

  • Re: Beolit 12
Yeah, I know. But I still think it's a mockup/demo unit created for pushing through various regulations. I don't think it's a finished end-user product. It's rough around the edges, lacks controls and so on.
And I was sure it's going to have a D connector hanging off a length of ribbon cable

  • Re: Product Configuration Guide
I could install the program on my Win7 System without problems. But I cannot start it because it says it is not compatible. Seems windows requests a 32bit or 64bit version...
If you have the 64-bit version of Windows 7, it will not natively run these old programs. It lacks the 16-bit subsystem completely. You
So...anyone care to show us more photos of finished product in their home?
There's a thread for that already.

  • Re: Beolit 12

We now have three different people posting three links to the FCC site, and only the first one (by mhw) works for others, since the site needs the session info of the search. Use that, or just do an FCC ID search on the site yourself (grantee code: BV5, product code: BEOLIT12). To me, it does have an obvious resemblance to the old Beolits - not the
