  • Re: I hate E-Bay and its jokers

I refuse to use Paypal. Just select it as an option when selling stuff and in the description rubric just say I do not accept Paypal. Works every time for me.

  • Re: John Wyndhams Beomaster 900K

Of course the MKX is from the mid to late 60s, not 50s but you get what I mean.

Hi: I really like Jaguar's and have been breaking them for a few years with a friend of mine in the London area. I have an interest in a Jaguar dismantlers if anyone has Jaguars and is looking for parts. However, the purpose of me replying to this thread was not to unashemedly advertise myself but to say that I seem to like stuff from the 1950s

  • Re: Speaker cable gauge?

Yeah, what is all this cack I have heard about cross-wiring speaker cables and stuff like that. I use relatively thick speaker cables but I buy online then you don't get all the nonsense from sales staff that in the main don't know what they are talking about. • Re: DVD1 and MX6000 compatibility

Hi: I would suggest MK2 as it is less old and as such you will probably get more life out of it. However, I would not buy either personaly as they are both quite old in DVD terms and the MK1 especially is ripe for getting unreliable. If I was going to buy one, I would suggest that the Panasonic drive would be more reliable. However, this is just an

  • Re: How old is my Avant?

Hi: In the case of the Avant its conception date is 1994 and that is what the Roman numerals "translate" to. I don't know if this date is used for the whole range or if there is a different date for the RF, DVD and 100hz variants.

  • Re: How old is my Avant?

Hi: No, I think the date is the date the concept of the Avant was established I think - like a copyright thing. Although I am unsure.
