You paid for that upgrade. For the ATV, it is for them mostly a vehicle to sell on itunes, same for the Roku box where they added additional content provider. I was responding to the eroneous statement that ".....a product after release doesn't incur upgrades other than bug fixes". What you say is of course correct, but that doesn't

Trying to refrain commenting on the tablet. I think in these days one has to learn that a product after release doesn't incur match upgrades other then bug fixes. Can't fully agree. My iPod Touch which I use exclusively in the home to access music on my ATV, has received many updates, as has the ATV. Yes this been to fix some bugs on each, but

I may be misjudging Chrisn, so if I am please forgive me, but does this type of thread annoy others as much as it does me? After 2 days of helpful advice from members, no acknowledgement whatsoever from him. In his first post & a question to which I suspect he has now solved himself, but no expressions of appreciation. Years since I played records, but back in the far distant days when I was well into turntable & arm setups, bias & compensation settings were crucial for the stylus to negotiate the groove, particularly nearer the centre where the forces on the stylus change considerably. I'm not familiar with the 5005, but does it have bias/compensation

Can't offer much more than previously advised but just one point. Are you trying to play standard commercial CDs or are you attempting to play CD-Rs, CD+Rs etc? These may have played fine on other units, but some players are choosy about playing recordable discs and will just reject them.

It's everyone's choice I suppose, but I'm struggling to understand this one also. Why stereo Conas? When the reference was made to a 'dual voice coil', my first thought was that you wanted to wire up each of the 2 voice coils in each Cona separately, but I don't think that's what you mean! As the bass frequencies from 2 subs

[quote user="Razlaw"] It has probably been asked before, but why not make programming software for the Beo 5 available? I can understand that they may want the revenue for their dealers to do the programming, fear of customers being frustrated with trying to program it themselves. On the other hand, the unavailability of the software may cost
