Have you got MP3 or AAC files? If MP3, why not go for a BeoSound 3? Far better sound, longer battery life, completely wireless and half the price of a Serenata !

Like many, I'm almost surprised that BeoSound 9000 lasted so long, because although I find the design timeless, the features are really outdated. At least for the same price, BeoCenter 2 offers a better display and DVD playback (but still no HDMI/upscaling for a EUR 4,000 DVD /radio!!). What bothers me is that, once again, B&O were not able

Chasepoes, have you done any mod to the treble filter section after replacing the tweeter itself? I soldered the mid & treble driver wires/connectors with silver, and as mentionned before, couldn't hear any difference. My technician friend replaced the bottom speaker cable connectors with gold platted connectors, and I could'nt hear any

Or you can use the headphone output and connect to your amp via mini-jack>phono adaptor..

On the Lintronic box you can also set it up per source, so I don't have this issue..

If the same issue happens on different earphones, it might mean that you're too hard with the jacks..? Seriously, I never had any problem with the A8s, apart from inserting them properly in my ears to have good bass reproduction. I remember the logo vanishing with time, however.

Hi, sometimes the contactors at the bottom of the 2 units become loose and you get this message, it happened to me some time ago, I just had to use a tweezer to make the 2 contactors from the handset closer & in better contact with the base, and it worked again. Maybe it's another issue, but on mine the contactors were the only problem..
