Hi All. Just picked up a rather pretty black Avant 28 VHS, not a RF, but then for £150 with a fully ok Beo4 I am certainly not grumbling! It has the module for surround installed, and the STB controller. Questions then: PiP.. doesn't seem to do anything when i follow the PiP instructions in the manual. I'm guessing the module isn't

Yes, hope you're feeling better soon Martin - we're all itching for the next installment ;)

That's the kind of luck I could do with... not the sort I'm having lately :( As a friend of mine said: 'If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all..." As everyone else says, thanks for sharing this. It is fascinating, and of course I want one too! :)

A worthy cause indeed - best of luck with it.

Hello and welcome to the site. I hope you'll stick around. I can only agree with Graham and Martin and say that the belt should certainly be the first thing to try before adjusting the speed controls. Replacing the belt will most likely bring it back up to speed ok. It is quite possible that a worn belt could cause some noises too. Hope this helps
