Not sure if the same works with a windows based system but I have hooked up my iMac with the Beoport box to the ML network and can control iTunes with both the Beo4 and my iPhone (much better to choose music from a library with a two-way-remote) at the same time. So best of both worlds :-) Karsten

Michael, do you have a chance to hook up your BD Player to the projector without the BS3 in between? Before I sold my HD-DVD player I made a simular expirence, the BS3 does some strange things to the HD image. I noticed to areas, one was the black level and the other the sharpnes. With the HD-DVD wired to the JVC HD1 projector directly no issue at all

The dealer can create a customized STB entry? This is new to me....as far as I know B&O is "willing" to compile a customer specific PUC for a certain device for a fee (aprox. 500 Euro or so). However, on the most recent PUC list there is the Dvico 6500 media player, not to bad... Karsten

yes, as far as I know the only difference to the standard cover is the direction of the B&O logo. I have the Lab4 wall mounted with the ceiling mounting kit. I Don't like the "lamp" style of the wall mount. Karsten

Peter, from my point of view a BEO5 would not help in this type of setup. The Samsung projector is controlled by the BS3 (like a PUC) and the "action" is triggered by the FORMAT 0 command and the cinema control setting in the customer service menu. So it is a fully automated process. In my setup I have a JVC HD1 controlled by a Lintronic box

Zumindest polarisiert die Form der Lab5! Sonst sehen LS ja immer irgenwie gleich aus, dicke oder mal mehr oder weniger dünne Säulen. Da stechen die Lab 5 und die Lab 9 sicherlich heraus. Die Performace ist sicherlich ohne Frage überragend, in der Preisklasse dürfen die Ansprüche aber auch schon etwas höher sein Mein Händler

My update was done yesterday. In theory, a downgrade is possible, however, the technical expert of my dealer who did the update, told me, that with the new version of the service tool all old version were deleted automaticly from his PC. hmm.... Karsten
