  • Re: Quadraphonic sound

I have the Beogram 6000 Quad, the correct cartridges and a Beomaster 3400, + 4x RL60's. I also have many suitable records. Its something I have thought about for some time. Would be great to be able to get the 4 channel sound into my other B&O equipment. Though for the time being the system is pretty darn good. BTW the Mike Oldfield and Led

  • Re: Moving from the USA to Australia : Question on Voltage

Some of the newer and more equipment can be changed from 110 to 240. B&O Australia used to do some of this work. Last advice I received from B&O was to contact B&O direct in your local region before leaving. You could drop an email to one of the Sydney stores as well... I know BL1''s, BL5's and a BV5's were converted. Not

  • Re: Beolink Active - PC Input

Ok, I'll get a multimeter and try to learn something. I figure I'm ok with checking pins though I'm not sure about these bridges and like. Any tips?

Hagen2000: Hi beoaus, is it possible that you determine the connections of the adapter cable, i.e. which pins are connected? Cable is buried in the wall... I'll get it out this weekend. Not sure how to open the DIN section of the cable without wrecking it... There is a tab to push but the cover does not slide back. Any suggestions?

  • Re: BV7 DVD eject

You don't want your three year old learning how to open the tray... Try DVD then STOP.... You can also use BLOCK SENSITOUCH on the service menu to stop the manual button. beoaus.

  • Re: Beolink Active - PC Input

I thought I saw a reply to this message... The cable allows audio to be connected to the PC Input. The PC command allows that local audio signal to played through the speakers connected to the Beolink Active. The audio source is not available to other link rooms. Very useful. You can connect a TV with Line out, a Turntable, IPod, etc.... Beoaus.

Solution found. B&O America have a cable 0898126. I have this cable now and can testify that it works. All problems listed above, including the single channel, humming, listen in, etc are just symptoms of the wrong cable being used. You simply press PC on the Beo4 and the local sound source comes through the speakers, whether it's line in, variable
