Interestingly, you'll find the newer ones go for higher prices than the 4000-series. The prices are also rising on these decks, overall.

I'm with Alex here when it comes to 32 vs 24. Go with the native resolution for the BL5s. There isn't any source material available in 32-bit anyway. But Pure Music is heartily recommended by me. I have it set up from my MacMini through a digital router to the BL5s, and I do hear a noticeable difference between playback detail through PM compared

I may at times be critical of B&O, but I'm a BeoHolic as are many others here. Still, a few exceptions. As my Apple units are integrated with my A/V, I guess I should count those - then again, Ive of Apple has borrowed to such an extent from B&O design expressions that I feel it's all in the family. Congratulations with a nice ST/P! If you'd posted a little earlier I would have been in the market for it, but I found one elsewhere. Send Frede a PM and he'll be able to tell you what it's worth, as well as help you find a buyer who will put it to good use, if you're interested in selling. The armboard itself looks quite homemade. It

I haven't used the BG6500 for a while, which may be why the drive belt for the servo skipped a beat when I tried it again, and forced me to open it up to get that reattached. Now I find the left channel is not performing as it should, much weaker signal. I've had it up again, and have checked and cleaned the muting switch without things improving

Go to options and use the Add/Update function to upload images. There's a 500kb size restriction. I don't think there's any reason to suspect your arm is not B&O, is your armboard a wide rectangle or with a "shoulder" as in the boards on the link above?
