Success indeed - I PM'd you back :)
-
Hi Tony Not received anything yet! Did you PM me or send a direct email? John
-
Thanks Tony :) To be honest I would be prepared to have the walls channelled out, but as always there's a WAF to take into account! I also am rather taken by Lex Lance's set up, so might try them on the floor first and see how we get on. All of this is dependent on actually finding a pair in the first place. I've seen about two decent pairs

Yes - I had one and it did :)

Thanks for your comments Peter :) I've been mulling over getting a pair of these for a long time now, but they are rare and I have not had a suitable amp to connect them to. My Beolab 5000 is being serviced by Martin, after I killed one of the channels by plugging a defective DIN speaker plug into it that then shorted it out! It needed servicing

Does anyone who owns these have any advice about how these sound in comparison to some of the comparable, bigger B&O passives such as Beovox Pentas or MC120.2s etc? Thinking about having a bit of a re-jig at home when my Beolab 5000 amp comes back from servicing, and I've long hankered after a pair of these. Also intrigued as to placement options
Last year I got a really nice Beocord 7000 cassette deck from LifeStyle AV to replace the one that I had in my BeoSystem 7000. The system that I started putting together in 2007. I watched the BeoSystem 7000 for hours through the window of a Bang & Olufsen dealer after it came out in the early nineties. Knowing that
Yeah j0hn, Puncher is in Tenner Reef. He would be tickled to hear about Durham, I'm sure./ Seems to be the in thing to name your child after the place it was conceived. Won't be long before we meet someone called Oswaldtwistle!
I've come across some right names recently in the job I have in the med
Lost one of two dogs to osteosarcoma a couple of years ago. Dog No 2 took ages to get over the sudden loss of her companion. (Now have two again.)
That's sad to hear :( We worry about Victor (cat 2) missing his brother, but at his age a replacement kitten might be too much for him to keep up with!
Sorry to hear that j0hn. Who's coping best, you or Fliss?
The other cat I think Andy! Is Punisher on holiday BTW? I spoke to someone at work the other day who named their child 'Durham', which I thought might amuse him!
