• Re: Strange behavior Beomaster 1900-2

I can't rate Martin's lamp-kits high enough, I have just one for the 1900 waiting a moment to replace the lamps. And I have already repaired many 1900s by Martin's kits. Great kit and the instructions are very good. The volume troubles are almost surely related to the volume meter lamps; the fact that they go on and off could mean the filament
The size difference isn't actually that great That 901 is nice. It is probably one of the last vintage Beomasters I might still buy... Although the 800 is what I really want!
Nice photo of the speakers! I have always wanted a 800, too! Perhaps because it reminds of the BM900? (or my Stereomaster!) But

I am actually quite happy with the setup now; I very rarely use the speakers anyway. The CXs will need refoaming first, I thought it would be a nice to try different speakers. The 901 is situated next to my desk (under my bed); see the photo attached. The choise between 901 and 3000-2 is much because of space and weight; 901 and the speakers (they are

Congratulations on your new Beomaster! My first B&O amp was a Beocenter 1400 which is BM901 + a Beocord on the right side. Lovely thing! Later on I bought a BM3000-2 and I got a 901 for free as extra! It was horribly dirty and lamps were burnt but I replaced them and cleaned the whole thing; now I use it daily! I have two Tandberg 2-way speakers

The "2001: a space odyssey" is one of the greatest movies I have seen. Very, very long and slow, but still so very stylish. No computer graphics there, but the spacecrafts revolving in the space are just so magical and real. Class A example of what GOOD photographical effects can do! I have watched this movie many times and still keep enjoying

  • Re: Beovox S75 capacitors

Hello. I bought S75 speakers some two years ago. They sounded pretty dull and I bought a capacitor kit from Dillen. I can't remember the price but it was very cheap for the difference it made! The instructions included were also very good. The speakers started to sound much better and I enjoyed them until I gave them away half-year ago in exchange

  • Re: Just got a Beomaster 900K, well, not exactly...

The mounting bracket of the 1000's decoder didn't really fit into the Stereomaster so I had "a bit" temporary and impractical installation.... This is why I had to test with external speakers! With a bit of modification the 1000 decoder could be fitted there, I guess. I have never seen a B&O 900K but from the photos I have seen

  • Re: IR Code Converter for the BM8000 questions

I have seen 2.5mm plugs used as remote controller connectors (80's equipment mostly). I was able to buy new ones, too, so it shouldn't be hard to get.

It's fun to discuss and send posts with myself... Today I received a Beomaster 1000 (the older model with white keys and scale) for a quick repair (burnt lights on the scale and missing tuner pointer (!!!!!!!)). I noted that it had a very similar stereo decoder and I tested the Stereomaster with it. Works great! The Stereomaster decoder is fastened
