Peter, Given that everything apparently works correctly with the Beo4 means that either the loaded Beo5 "PUC Profile" is the wrong one and does not match the PUC entry or there is an error in the Beo5 Profile XML file. I have had a look at the Beo5 Profile for this unit and it appears to be fine. Can I suggest that you give a couple of examples

Olivier, After receiving your remote I did a quick check and it turns out that what I decoded and provided in the previous download was correct in as far as the protocol decode was concern. The protocol used in “Proton” and uses a 38 Khz carrier Frequency. However, the reason my file did not work is because this projector expects the same

Depending on the Type number of your Beovision 3-32 which I expect is 8803 then you can change it to PAL B/G in the Service Menu. The difference relates to the sound carrier PAL I uses 6 Mhz here in the UK and PAL B/G uses 5.5 Mhz

[/quote] After reviewing your problem description and knowing that you are certain that the TV has been replaced, also taking into account your statement above, I would

Olivier, I am sorry to hear it is still not working.. Clearly, there is still something incorrect. I think the best action would be for you to send me your original remote control, so that I can capture the commands. I will send you an e-mail with my address..

Richard, A Very Warm Welcome to Beoworld.. Depending on the transmission the format will automatically set. If you change it using the FORMAT command, that setting is NOT stored for future use, only for the current viewing. In other words, if you want to change it, you will have to change it each time you use the TV.
