I would rip it with lossless as it would be the best solution, both when it comes to sound - and the fact that you will not have to rip it again in the future. I have them stored with 320 kbps and will now have to re-rip them with lossless WMA to get the "full sound" Roger

Just checked with B&O - only the first 300 BV9's didn't have them. I do understand that you are reluctant to drill the holes, I took a couple of pictures but they didn't tell anything but the fact that I need remove some dust from the back of the telly You can ask your dealer for a quick guide: A "Drilling and mounting instruction"

The BV9 comes with four holes pre-drilled for the STB cover/bracket, but the first few models didn't have them pre-drilled - which isn't a major challenge. I have one installed, and it is very convenient to access (snap off cover) and, as it is placed directly above the BS3, cable management it very easy. Roger

Hi, I would say no more than a new Beo5. Spare parts were available the last time I checked, but that was some time ago... Roger

...it will only play every second Hz Roger

Roger

BL 2 will stay on - the new sub is a smaller one, both when it comes to performance and price. Perhaps not a budget product, but close to half the price of the BL 2 according to our sources. Roger

I agree, this is a bit confusing - but you need to take the BS2 from being a scart-only to something that accepts digital input. The D7-panel can be flashed, but it is not necessary with the D8-panel. Roger
-
Yes, as long as the BV5 as a serial number higher than 18380842. Just order part no. 1436800. Roger

If you have a D7 (or later) plasma panel that can handle the resolution, you need to install the DVI-card into your BeoSystem 1/2 (slot 1) and this acts as a scaler for the panel. They do also offer a card with VGA/YPbPr connections. Sorry if I do repeat myself - not sure I understood the last question properly. Roger
