Likelier to be an amplifier fault and the processor commands the relay (and with it the amplifier power) off again as soon as it was powered on. Try without speakers. Still no go, check the idle current and DC offset and look around for a shorted output stage transistor. Martin

That's the newer stereo version, then (2 channels to four speaker outputs). I've never replaced one of those relays, never saw a defective one, but I'm sure I can find a good used original one if you need. Are you sure that relay is bad ? Can you tell us, what are the symptoms of the Beomaster ? Also, please check that part no again. My

Welcome to Beoworld ! Relays normally have part nos in the 76xxxx range. 2516xxx sounds more like a bracket, clamp, clip, holder or some other kind of mechanical fastener. Is it the 4-channel version ? Can you be more specific regarding the function of the relay ? Martin

If the cones have locked solid (they do that in transport if magnets wasn't glued), the only cure is to replace the woofer with a good used original. What happens is that the glue that holds the magnet to the woofers metal basket losens and the magnet will just need a gently bump in either direction to relocate and lock itself to the outer metal
