Peter: Go on!! The Beolab 5 and Beovision 9 look stunning even in a picture and the BS2 certainly looks like no other MP3 player - whether that is a good thing is debatable but it couldn't be anything but B&O! The BS6 is a copy of an average MP3 player with a rotten user interface. I hope B&O have improved this but I doubt they can do that

There's nothing wrong with judging a picture, but judgig the design for the whole product just from a picture isn't possible. Take the BeoVision 9 for an example, or the BeoLab 9s. Everybody thought they looked appalling when they saw the pictures. It's only once you've seen it in the flesh, touched it and used it that you can really

Overture - Yes this will work just fine. Connect the two via ML, and you will have complete control over the Overture as if it's part of the BeoVision. I doubt the BV7's DVD player is better than the Overture's though. Maybe you could do a comparison for us? I haven't done anything like that. Airport Express/optical. No, this will not

Mybad! I'd be a bit wary of it personally, although you could always just dampen it with the rubber snake. There was somebody else on BeoWorld who had their speakers on top of a unit like that. It was either BeoLab 5s, 9s or a 2 with 8000s, I can't remember. Anyway, I seem to remember them saying they didn't feel it hindered the sound too

I personally would wait for the updated version which should be coming out later this year. The BeoVision 7 isn't too special when it comes to some DVDs or SD sources (unlike say, the BeoVision 8, BeoCentre 6 or BeoVision 9), as it still uses the older picture processing techniques which are getting a bit long in the tooth now. The updated one will

Toubro: Alex, that just sounds sick, hope you get a new one and that my MBP won't act like that. Don't worry, it won't. Mine was a first generation one, which are as always, a bit useless. I think it was just even worse than usual with the 1st gen MacBook Pros. Toubro: It is very slow when pressing "menu" on the remote to go a

Yes, it's got a nifty little thing called Infinate Impedance, which basically means it counters the number of speakers connected to it (as much as it can). If you connect 4 drive cones to each channel, it's obviously going to have a higher load, and should like most normal amplifiers play much quieter. However, this Infinate Impedance malarky

Does the BeoLab 2 cause any problems when on the cabinet? What you could always do if you come across problems, is ask your dealer if he or she can supply you with some of the black rubber cable tidy 'snake' you see coming out the back of BeoLab 8000s, and run that around the inside rim on the base of the BeoLab 9s. Ultimately, if your BeoLab

ruudvdklauw: Hi, My beo4 really does give the sign ´Battery´ when they are low. Maybe some older or just newer types do not, my beo4 is about 7 years old. Greetings, Ruud I didn't know that, thankyou! Never seen it on a Beo4 before...

Peter: From experience I agree with shadow. The chargers on B&O products are designed to allow the product to sit on them all the time. I have some pretty old Beocom 6000s and an original early Beolink 7000 all with original batteries and all with good stand by time off the charger. I have never 'conditioned' my battery as I have never had
