philball: After reading the forum here I thought perhaps the issue could be dust. Can any body tell me what sensors I should try cleaning and where they are located? i didn't see anyone reply regarding the hand sensors... there are two small clear "plastic" pyramidal nubs that stick up out of the aluminum plate -one either side lengthwise

j0hnbarker: The Plumber: Lounge Mark - I really like this, and remember enjoying reading your thread when you were doing this room. Just goes to show that B&O can look good in a 'normal' sized living room and not just in some cavernous loft space. I love the BS9000 in that alcove - spot on! oh dear! i thought that room looked familiar!!

very clean install! ...and you are a fan of "24!"

for what you'd spend fixing them... buy a pair of beovox s45's with rubber surrounds. i guarantee they will perform better than your realistics. look on ebay -they come up.

TripEnglish: It's possible, sure. There's only a single screw on the bottom attaching the speaker to the bracket. We've done this before in a few installations. Shouldn't affect the sound too much. curious: why would it affect the sound at all on an ALT speaker?
