The only way you can compare Beosound 1 and Beosound 3 is when receiving FM radio! The quality of the FM signal is going to be far more critical than any amount of so called "running in" if such a phenomenon actually exists. All MX tv's equipped with the 4 pin stand socket will work with the same stand motor and there are only two mounting plates, one for 21"TV's and one for the 26"TV's. Hi Dave, You can use standard rca leads to connect the 6000's to anything with a volume controlled line level output. They should switch on when they receive a signal and off when the signal has ceased for about 3 minutes.
