If the BeoSystem 3 and BeoCenter 2 are only connected via MasterLink, then it won't work. You need an SP/DIF cable going between the two. This takes the form of a standard 'phono' lead, but actually carries digital signals. DTS (or indeed any proper form of surround sound) cannot travel down MasterLink cable, or Scart.

No you can't do this. The record would fall off, among other issues such as tonearm weight changing with the angle of the player. Heck the whole platter itself could fall off! No go I'm afraid Record decks are just waaay too fragile. Sorry!

Keith Saunders: Alex, Not wishing to question your maths, I feel even Beoworld are not giving those good odds. Just because there are 10 prizes does not mean the odds get better. Also, as Lee draws the 10th prize first, the odds actually get better as you approach the first prize because one person is being taken out of the pot each time. In other words

I guess you mean Beo Sound 3000 and not Beo Lab 3000. You need PowerLink cables, your nearest B&O dealer should be able to supply them. They look similar to 5-pin DIN cables, but are actually much more complex.

I agree with Flappo. It's way out of my price range (as much as I would absolutely love one), and I'm far more interested in Leopard. I friend has downloaded it and says it's still DEFINITELY a Beta with the way it runs. Time Machine is slow graphically and it just generally doesn't seem very finished considering they gave us a beta a year ago. Cover
