If you have an LCS9000 or any Beolab 3500 prior to the introduction of Beolink Wireless 1, then it would have a Masterlink socket AND a Master Link Control socket. You can see a full overview in the FAQ on the subject HERE

The numbers quoted are B&O part numbers and they can still be obtained through B&O dealers

The mains plug below has also a grounding pin and two flat prongs forming a V-shape and is based on the Australian standard. There is an ungrounded version of this plug as well, with only two flat V-shaped prongs. Although there are slight differences, the Australian plug mates with the socket used in the Peoples Republic of China (mainland China).

You can connect your MCL enabled Beolab 3500 to your Beomaster 5500 using the cables shown below. They are two speaker type plugs each with an extra pin and on the other end a din plug which goes into the Beolab 3500

JoC You should get a certificate for everything you purchase from a B&O store no matter how small except spare parts. So you should get it for your A8 and keyring as well.

I think you mis-understood me, so I will restate to be clear on this point. You can enter numbers into the address book from any phone connected to the same base, so if you only have one base, it is simple, you enter you phone number and it is seen on any other phone. You can register a handset to up to four (4) bases then you must consider my previous

Your dealer can do a software update of your Beocom 2's, it is quite a quick job. You cannot link PSTN bases in terms of phonebook sharing. The common phonebook is only valid when a given handset uses its base number 1. i.e. the base to which the handset was registered as handset number 1

Given that B&O have announced the Mark II version I expect that you will get it with the version 2.0 software already installed, but if for some reason it is not already updated to version 2.0 it would only take your dealer a few minutes to update it themselves. All the functions you would expect to work including using a link TV should work fine
