Agree with Graham here. Certainly looks the genuine article, there were 2 versions - the one you are selling and a version with a single pole between top & base which the cables run through.. Chris.

There's a belt which drives the eject mechanism under the bottom plate, this may well have perished - I had this problem and that was the cause. If memory serves me it is the only one in there so you canoot miss where it should go. Chris.

Yep, coconut oil is recommended by B&O for Penta panels & great for keeping the original lustre. The original post was really an idea for refurbing panels which were in need of some TLC due to scratches etc... and certainly not as a means of regular cleaning, just thought I should clarify this before we all dash off to B&Q

Sounds good if labour intensive. This has been tried on the mirror panels as fitted to the BC9500 & other products from the same era. The problem here being the mirror finish is actually an anodised surface treatment and any abrasive treatment simply ruins them Good for non anodised aluminium & stainless steel surfaces (ala Beolab 5000 panels

Good choice! Does it come with a remote control? The Beolink 5000 is the one to have with this system due to the 2 way functionality Chris.
