Yes, I understood talisman's point, but whilst B&O are not very quick at providing product facilities others already have in place, what they are good at, is advanced product planning. That is why you can fit a DVB-T upgrade module to an AVANT DVD for "Freeview" as an example.

It is possible, but not if you have quite old bases. If you have a handset registered to several bases, you can choose which base to use via the SELECT BASE menu Instead of choosing a specific base, you can choose AUTO SELECT . The handset will then search for another base if the transmission signal to its present base is lost. Clearly if an on-going

I think that is an excellent idea Andy , perhaps all Beoworld members who sell B&O products on Ebay should take the same action

As you know B&O does not do anything quickly, so plans for an upgrade soon seem unlikely, particularly as currently the DVB-S/T (combined unit) is only used in the Beosystem 3. On the other hand, when it does come it will be an easy upgrade because it will be just an upgrade of the software.

If you have a Beo4 with the DVD button, then it is either a Mark II or Mark III model and both support N.Music and N.Radio However, if it is a older model you can use A.TAPE for N.Music and PHONO for N.Radio

OK, so Radio CD etc appear on the available sources on the PC remote control which is good. Do you have your PC2/Beoport set to option 6 ? In the room with the Beosound 9000, if you ask for N.Music on the Beo4 what appears in the display of the Beosound 9000 ?
-
You do not need a IR on your PC2/Beoport. I am assuming that when you say 9000 you mean Beosound 9000 ? When you are on your PC if your press CD what happens ?
-
Given what you say, are you sure you have not pressed the "stereo" button which is marked "SOUND" on the top left above the left speaker ? If you have it will mute the sound, just press it again.

Extract from my FAQ on the subject When I purchased my LCS9000, I was told it could only be used with MCL (Master Control Link), is this true ? No, All units from day one shipment had both MCL and Master Link, however on the LCS9000’s the masterlink socket was covered with a black plug which made it appear that it only had MCL. To use the MasterLink
