I actually think the BeoSound 2 sounds better playing 256 mp3 than my iPod does with lossless! Also I'd agree that from what we've seen it would look better with the soft-touch coating. However, I might like the feel in real life so I'm not sure yet...

I'd say yes, obviously. The Pentas cannot be compared to the RL60s in any way, completely different performance leagues! Like comparing a Mini Cooper to a Lambo.... Try and get Penta MK3s though, but there were never any 'duff' Pentas which you should avoid - they were all fantastic speakers. The MK3s are obviously newer...

Your dealer should be able to supply one It just looks like a cable you would normally find with headphones, but with a small black lump on the end (which is the 'blaster' itself). This then connects to one of the IR outputs on the BeoSystem 3.

Quickest & easiest solution would be to get a 'range reducer' from your dealer. If he/she does not have any spare ones, I'm sure they can order one in for you! It's a little plastic cap which sits over the top of the Beo4 with a small hole in the centre. It narrows the beam of the Beo4 considerably, meaning you have to point it directly at the product

It's called the 'Universal Dock'. You take an 'IR Blaster' from the right connection on the BeoSystem 3, and tape it to the front of the Universal Dock. The BeoSystem 3 then blasts the Dock's IR eye with the correct codes required to operate the unit. Then connect the LINE OUT on the back of the dock to an input on the BeoSystem 3.
