Right. Left channel measured 7.5 mV over R423, using R429. Right channel over R421, using R399 - volume control at minimum. This doesn't quite agree with the values somebody has dabbled over the schematic we have on site (seems like "24 m/A" through those same 0.15 ohm resistors, which would result in 3.6 mV), but I'd rather trust
I'll try pressing the wheel down as you suggest. When the BM2000 arrived in the post a couple of keys looked as if they were at odd angles, but they relocated with a click into their horizontal positions once they had been pressed. (I seem to recall reading somewhere on the forum that the keys are offset from the
As for the black case, it just really puts me off. I may well reconsider this objection, but I plan to first have my MMC20CL’s and MMC6000 rebuilt to see if they really do sound like they did when they were new.
I'm a strong advocate of not fixing things that aren't broken. As I understand, you've

A lovely thing, Graham My two teak Beomasters told me to ask you if she can iron? In the lower picture, the tuning wheel seems not to be quite flush with the panel. If this is indeed the case, try pushing it down a little - you might hear a "click" and see an immediate improvement in appearance. The axle can move a little during transport

Hi Jonathan, I'll need to give that a little thought. The problem is that we're on the different sides of the pond, and I'm sure shipping the complete Beomaster is out. Likewise, UPS for just the module might still cost more than a working machine brought to my door from German eBay... But, if you can get a good quote for it or can consider
I often listen to N radio via a Roku/Pinnacle unit linked to my vintage B&O equipment. Is there any simple way to record web broadcast material?
With your vintage B&O tape recorder connected to the same receiver, of course Seriously, the problem is that most content providers will do everything they

Congratulations to the winner - what a nice price - and thanks to B&O and Beoworld for the excitement Quite unexpectedly it seems I'll need to pay for mine if I really want it! Now, as us losers are probably allowed to start bitching & whining , the problem I mentioned earlier about this answer - I thought the name of the book is actually

Sounds awfully far from 711, wrapped or not
