Set the system to standby then With your Beolink 1000 SOUND 1 STORE The standby light on the system should blink if the command is received and your remotes should now work.
-
Assuming that you have both systems set to option 1 then to get sound from the "wrong" speakers you have to precede the relevent command with AV. So, to get Avant sound from 5500 speakers you press AV then TV on the BL1000

355f: Im not really sure what the point of the original post is! yes plasma and LCD have dropped but thats the nature of consumer electronics, How much did you pay for your first video? - I paid £1100 for mine ( now £38) the first plasma?( the first sony plasma was £14500) the difference now is that the public is not being convinced

Craig: Derek, I believe it was only the Beocenter 9000 that had the model on the flap over the connections. Maybe someone else can confirm this. Craig The only one NOT to have it's model number on the flap was the 9300

At the prices they are going for now I think it is worth taking the risk!

Hi Mobe, They are an excellent set with terrific picture and sound. They are excellent value for money at present, Beware.......the masterlink socket does not necessarily mean that the ML board is fitted!!!! Service could be expensive in the future as it is a replacement module scheme and one of the modules is enoooooormous!!!!
-
This socket is line in/out for a graphic equaliser. It is taken off before the volume and tone controls. The plastic disc is actually a plug which connects the pre amp/amp together. If you remove the disc you will get no sound.
-
Tape 2 will do nicely. Then select Tape 2 on the front panel and you should have sound from your ipod.

How many 5th prizes are there?????????

The first thing I would try would be to clean the laser lens with a cotton wool bud. If this doesn't fix it then Peter's suggestion is spot on. Tim Jarman www.beocentral.com
